Partnerships in Conservation
Below are just a few of the partnerships formed from community action (click an icon to learn more).
The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians have been an invaluable partner in preservation efforts throughout northern Michigan. With a generous grant from the tribe and working with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources we put a boat wash station in at the Paradise Lake Public Boat Launch.
In 2012, the Paradise Lake Improvement Board was formed to advocate and begin an ecological and chemical free eradication of the Eurasian water milfoil in Paradise Lake.
Our partnership with the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce has been a valuable and rewarding experience.

Working with the Little Traverse Conservancy, we built and maintain hiking trails in the Stony Point Nature Preserve.
Our long partnership with the Tipp of the Mitt Waterhshed Council has strengthened our efforts to preserve Paradise Lake and its water resources for the enjoyment of future generations.
