 Preserving
and Protecting
Paradise Lake

The Paradise Lake Association is unabashedly proud of its role in the preservation of 1913 acres of Paradise Lake and its surrounding watershed. For 50 years,  we have steadfastly and enthusiastically worked for the preservation of the lake and promoted community involvement in conservation goals.

Paradise Lake Wetlands Preserved

The Little Traverse Conservancy purchased 93 wetland acres just south of the William and Stephanie Veling Nature Preserve, south of Blake’s Drive in Carp Lake. The John Siegel Nature Preserve is now open and available for community use.   The conservancy has plans to improve the nature preserve for use, currently there are two-tracks throughout the preserve for you to explore. We are proud to have partnered with the conservancy in ensuring the protection of this land preserve.

To date, a total of 602 acres in Carp Lake Township have been protected.
